Case 1. CSVP 2018-2977 (NTU2018-250b, NTU GIMCP, C.H. Shih, F.C. Hsueh, C.R. Jeng)
Feline, mongrel, 11-month-old, spayed female, showed clinical signs of vomit, hyperthermia and anorexia. The radiological exam revealed an abdominal mass and laparotomy was performed..
Morphological diagnosis:
1. Enteritis, pyogranulomatous, locally extensive and transmural, chronic-active, severe, with vasculitis, ileum and cecum
2. Lymphadenitis, pyogranulomatous, diffuse, chronic active, severe, mesenteric lymph node
3. Peritonitis, fibrinous, locally extensive, acute, moderate, peritoneum
4. IHC: FIP (+)

Case 2. CSVP 2018-2978 (NTU2017-0945, NTU GIMCP, C.W. Yen, C.R. Jeng)
Feline, mongrel, 9-year-pld, castrated male. A cutaneous nodule was found on the neck for years. The size enlarged in the past few weeks. Some bloody discharges oozed from the surface.
Morphological diagnosis:
1. Spindle cell sarcoma, grade I*, cutaneous mass on the dorsal neck.

Case 3. CSVP 2018-2973 (CD18011, ADDC NCYU, Y.W. Liao, H.C. Kuo, C.L. Chen, Y.C. Su, M.H. Chang, D.Y. Lo)
Native chicken, 20-week- old, showed clinical signs of depression, dyspnea and sudden death. The total number of chickens in the farm is 11,000 and about 4 chickens died per day
Morphological diagnosis:
1. Cardiomyopathy, degenerative to necrotic, with mineralization, heart
2. Edema, lung
3. Myopathy, degenerative, multifocal, skeletal muscle

Case 4. CSVP 2018-2980 (MZl 7009, ADDC NCYU, N.C. Twu, H.C. Kuo, C.L. Chen, Y.C. Su, M.H. Chang, D.Y. Lo)
Suckling pigs, 25-day old, were submitted to ADDC for disease diagnosis. The pigs showed clinical sign of bloody diarrhea two days ago. The cumulative morbidity rate was 7.5% (15/200).
Morphological diagnosis:
1. Typhlocolitis, sever, acute, segmental, catarrhal, hemorrhagic, erosive, with infiltration of neutrophils, cecum and spiral colon
2. PCR: Brachyspira hyodysenteriae (+)

Case 5. CSVP 2018-2981 (R2018-001E, GIVP NCHU, Y.C. Chang, Y.C. Chang,Y.C. Tuan, J.H. Yin, H.Y. Chiou)
Green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas), weighing about 9.45 kg and measuring approximately 45-50 cm long, was found dead on the coast of Penghu on January 2, 2018. The turtle was in a poor body condition. At necropsy, there were multifocal dark red nodular thickenings in vascular walls with thrombus formation. The cerebrum and the brainstem were mottled. Multifocal white to dark red nodules of various sizes measuring about 0.1 x 0.1 cm – 0.2 x 0.3 cm, were found in multiple organs.
Morphological diagnosis:
1. Panarteritis, fibrinonecrotic to fibrosing, granulomatous, chronic-active, severe, with intralesional spirorchiidae adult trematodes and eggs, verminous thrombi, arteries, various organs
2. Meningoencephaomyelitis, granulomatous and necrotizing, chronic-active, multifocal to coalescing, severe, with intralesional spirorchiidae trematodes and eggs, verminous thrombi and encephalomalacia, cerebrum and cerebellum
3. Cystitis, granulomatous, chronic-active, multifocal, moderate, with intralesional spirorchiidae trematode eggs, urinary bladder
4. General infection caused by Hapalotrema postorchis
5. Urinary bladder infection caused by Pyelosomum cochlear

Case 6. CSVP 2018-2982(CP16-0718C GIVPNCHU, C.Y. Wang, C.H. Shih, J.H. Shien)
Chicken, Arbor Acres broiler breeder, 33-week-old, showed clinical signs of paleness of crest and face, bloody diarrhea, and death since the fifth day after the three-day continuous rain. Morbidity and mortality rate were about 30% and 5%, respectively.
Morphological diagnosis:
1. Enteritis, hemorrhagic, necrotizing, diffuse, severe, chronic active, etiology consistent with coccidiosis, duodenum and jejunum.
2. Typhlitis, lymphoplasmocytic, diffuse, moderate, chronic, cecum
3. Mixed species infection of E. maxima and E. necatrix
