Case 1. CSVP 2017-2917 (NTU2016-0829, NTU, W.T. Li, V.F. Pang, C.R. Jeng, C.H. Liu, F.I. Wang, H.W. Chang)
Canine, mongrel, 10 year-old, Mc. Multiple areas of erythema, erosion, and hyperpigmentation were noted on the skin around belly and inguinal regions. Skin biopsy was performed.
Morphological diagnosis:
1. Dermatitis, interface, multifocal to coalescing, moderate to severe, acute to subacute, with apoptotic keratinocyte, intra-epidermal vesicle, and pigmentary incontinence, skin

Case 2. Case 2. CSVP 2017-2918 (ntu2016-1531, Y.C. Chang and C.H. Liu)
Canine, West highland terrier, 10-year-old, female spayed. Liver mass was noticed from about 1 year ago and showed enlarged quickly recently. Ultrasound examination showed multiple nodules in the liver with omentum lymph node enlargement. Mass on the left medial lobe and lymph node were biopsy for pathological examination.
Morphological diagnosis:
1. Solid groups of cells with fibrovascular stroma
2. Groups or cords of cells with fibrovascular stroma
3. Alveolar pattern with multiple rosette-like structures and fibrovascular stroma
4. Neuroendocrine carcinoma, with vascular invasion and ileocolic lymph node metastasis, liver mass at left medial lobe

Case 3. CSVP 2017-2919 (105033-A, NTUCM LAC, Y.T. Tsai, C.W. Tsai, W.P. Chen, H.W. Chen)
Mouse, FVB/N, 5-month-old, female, the mouse presented neurological symptoms, such as limb clasping, limb grasping and trunk curling
Morphological diagnosis:
Brain: Necrosis, neuronal, acute, multifocally extensive, severe, with astrocytic hypertrophy and neuropil vacuolation, cerebral cortex, hippocampus, thalamus, brain
Liver: Necrosis, coagulative, hepatocellular, acute, multiple, slight, liver
Etiological Dx.

Case 4. CSVP 2017-2920 (BJ16011,ADDC NCYU, M.H. Huang, H.C. Kuo, C.L. Chen, Y.C. Su, M.H. Chang, D.Y. Lo)
Growing pig, 12-week-old, the wet tissue was submitted for histopathology.
Morphological diagnosis:
1. Colitis, proliferative, erosive, lymphohistiocytic, catarrhal, segmental, active-chronic, severe with Trichuris suis and Balantidium coli

Fresh water fishes (The major species is Candidia barbata) in the rivers of Dahu, Shitan, Nanchuang area had white-yellow rice-liked lesion on their body surface. There were white-yellow cysts which 0.1-0.4 cm in diameter located at the lower jaw of infected fish
Morphological diagnosis:
1. Yellow grub Centrocestus.sp(異形吸蟲
2. Lamproglena.sp(狹腹鰠屬)

Case 6. CSVP 2017-2922 (CW16-081, GIVP, NCHU, H.Y. Lin, Y.C. Tuan, F.R. Chang, F.T. Chan, W.F. Chang, J.W. Liao)
Red-bellied Squirrel (Callosciurus erythraeus), male adult, weight 107 g, the patient presented arch back and hind limb weakness in clinic. The patient was treat with Meloxicamx; however, no improvement and death was found after four days of treatment.
Morphological diagnosis:
1. Meningoencephalitis, eosinophil, diffuse, severe, acute to subacute, etiology consistent with Angiostrongylus, brain and lung
2. Fatty change, multifocal, mild, subacute, liver
